License Term Definitions:

License Types:

Commercial: For use use on a non-personal or business related website, social media page, and/or non-residential physical location when using physical print items. Not for use primarily on a personal website and/or social media account.

Personal: For use on personal social media page or website and for personal use when using physical print items.

Status Types:

Non-Exclusive: Photos taken under a non-exclusive license can be sold to other customers by the photographer.

Exclusive: Photos taken under an exclusive license cannot be sold to other customers by the photographer. *photos can still be used by the photographer for website, social media, and portfolio purposes.

Usage:

All Advertising: This option allows the customer to use the photo in any advertising capacity. This includes: magazine, newspaper, website, billboard, TV/Film (advertisement), and social media advertisement.

Billboard: Permission to use on a physical billboard (such as Lamar or other popular billboard companies)

Communication/PR: This is for use-cases such as pamphlets, infographics, and other non-advertisement publications.

Internal Use Only: This covers digital or print redistribution of the image for uses that do not involve view by the general public (for example, it would cover use in training or instructional media for employees, but not as posters in public view at a physical location.

Packaging/POS: This is for the use case of using the photo on packaging of another product

Print Advertising Only: This option is for print advertisement such as magazines, newspapers, and any other printed, physical format of the photograph.

Print Permissions: This covers the permission to print the image in a non-advertisement capacity (such as editorial or creation of wall art not intended for resale).

Products: This covers the resale of the image as, or in, another product such as an art/photo book, poster, or any other use resulting in the resale of an item that includes the image.

Social Media: This option is intended to allow the customer to publish photos on social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook

TV/Film (advertisement): This use case is exclusively for advertisement related publication on TV such as commercials

TV/Film (entertainment): This use case includes non-advertisement related appearances in TV/Film such as product placement in a TV show or a movie

Website: This is permission for use on the primary website of the client business
